Natural Cosmetics

Natural Bath Bombs, Toners, Facial/Body Creams, Scrubs

Learn how to make your own body products using wild naturally foraged herbs and minerals from the great outdoors. Greece has had a long tradition of herbal medicine and herbal infusions. For hundreds of years villagers were creating their own soaps, body and facial creams based on locally-grown, naturally wild, hand-foraged plants and herbs. Using traditional recipes with extra virgin olive oil and herbs collected on our nature walks, I will show you how to make goat’s milk infused bath fizzies, toners from lemons, face and body creams with pomegranates and other fruits gathered from the Greek countryside in our open air workshop. Alongside these workshops, you will learn about the medicinal properties of the more common herbs in Greece. Some possible cosmetics available for the workshops include: - lemon-honey moisturizing cream - pomegranate sugar scrub - Aegean sea salt daily cleanser - thyme-infused foot fizzy - olive pit scrub - creamy salty bath bombs - lemon/bergamot toner - rosewater facelifter - lavender body spray These make perfect gifts to bring home to loved ones. Relax tired muscles in a bath infused with organic wild-foraged herbs from the countryside leave skin silky with artisanal products made from traditional recipes from yiayia’s time. Take a piece of Greece with you. The scents of the herbs are so potent thanks to the penetrating Mediterranean sun. ]
